For the third season in a row, Cincinnati Bengals He’ll be on the outside looking in when the NFL playoffs begin.
Joe Burrow’s future with the team has been up for debate as the Bengals face the reality that another season hasn’t gone as planned.

Another executive suggested several first-round draft picks as a starting point for negotiations.
“It probably depends on a young QB or players the team can offer, but imagine if you don’t have at least two first-round picks plus more they won’t even answer the phone,” one NFC front office executive said. “If you’re not doing it with any players involved, maybe even three.”
Last week, Burrow tried to allay concerns about his future in Cincinnati.

Burrow and the Bengals agreed to a long-term contract worth $275 million in 2023. The deal made him one of the highest-paid players in NFL history. The contract also included a trade ban clause valid until 2029.
The Bengals will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday before closing out the season in Cleveland against the Browns in Week 18.
