Monaro Screens has been recognized on the national stage, taking the Business Services category at the 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Awards.
The award recognizes excellence in Australia’s small business sector and highlights Monaro Screens’ long-standing commitment to quality workmanship, customer service and community values developed over more than 33 years in business.
Established as a family-owned and operated business in Canberra in 1994, Monaro Screens has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the region’s leading suppliers of shower curtains, Crimsafe safety products, wardrobe doors, splashbacks, mirrors and retractable curtains, with the majority of its products manufactured locally in Fyshwick.
General manager Ben Byatt said the recognition was both humbling and rewarding for the entire team.
“Being recognized nationally among so many respected Australian businesses is something we are truly grateful for,” he said.

Mr Byatt said the award was a significant milestone for the business and a meaningful recognition of the team’s commitment and consistency over many years.
