Deputy Prime Minister DK Shivakumar said that on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, there were pits even on the road that led to the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi, but the issue was exaggerated in Karnataka.

Speaking to the journalists in the Sadashivanagar housing, Mr. Shivakumar said, “The day before I traveled to Delhi. The media should examine and report how many pits, including the road to the residence of Delhi’s residence.” He said.

“The pits are a nationwide problem. Only Karnataka’s situation is disproportionately flying.

In addition, approximately 200 pits per day were filled in each of the five companies and about 1,000 pits per day were completed.

“If the roads were preserved properly during the term of office of BJP, we could not reach this stage. They did not do anything to correct the pits, but now they bring the problem to the agenda with the upcoming elections,” he said.

Mr. Shivakumar’s words undertake the importance of sharp criticisms of the business world on infrastructure issues. Former InfoS CFO Mohandas Pai and Biocon President Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, including industrial leaders, refers to the bad road conditions of the logistics company Blackbuck after planning to move after planning to move from the Orr region took action.

Mr. Shivakumar said that the government did not encounter threats and blackmails and that Bengaluru continued to be a city of opportunity for businesses.
