Beyonce now a billionaire, according to Forbes

Beyoncé is now a member of the exclusive club of billionaires.
Forbes, the business magazine that determines people who exceed the billion dollar threshold, reported in a new report that the American singer broke the list.
Having reached billionaire status, Beyoncé joins a handful of musicians including husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna.
“While Queen Bey has expanded her business empire into a handful of celebrity-friendly verticals, including a hair-care brand (Cécred), a whiskey brand (SirDavis), and a clothing line (Ivy Park, discontinuing production in 2024), most of her personal fortune comes from her music, controlling the rights to her highly valuable catalog and generating a huge income from her worldwide tours,” Forbes said.
The rise comes on the heels of the singer’s recently completed Cowboy Carter Tour, which runs from northern spring through summer 2025. According to Forbes estimates, the tour grossed more than US$400 million ($598 million) in ticket sales and another US$50 million from merchandise sold at the shows.
Beyoncé produced a special Cowboy Carter halftime show for Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game in 2024, raking in an estimated $50 million, the magazine said.
The 2023 Renaissance World Tour generated approximately US$600 million in revenue. According to Box Office Mojo, Renaissance: A Movie by Beyoncé grossed approximately $44 million worldwide.
