A keen fisherman, Marvin’s visits helped put Cairns on the map as the battleground of choice for fighting black Marlin.

Marvin earned numerous accolades for portraying both gunfighter Kid Shelleen and criminal Tim Strawn in a dual role in the comedy Western.
