Haydarabad: A 63 -year -old retired young lecturer lost 18 lakh to a fraudulent online stock commercial racket after a fake investment plan through a WhatsApp group. The group looked legitimate, shared false evidence and screenshots of the so -called snow.

The sacrifice, a resident of the Kranthinagar colony, said that the deception was in contact with a woman who named Aaradhya Mishra through Whatsapp in May. He added him to a group where daily trade tips and stock suggestions were shared by a person named Pancaj Walia.

“The group claimed that he represented an investment company and brought a plan. The victim was asked to fill out a Google form and download a mobile application. The defendant later launched his fraud.”
