Zayn Malik has water bottles thrown at him after a fan Q&A as his comeback is hit by fresh woes after the star cancelled a string of shows amid health scare

Zayn Malik’s comeback was rocked by new drama on Thursday; The star had water bottles thrown at him as he left a fan Q&A in London.
The 33-year-old singer canceled 22 dates from her solo tour due to a health problem that caused her to be hospitalized last month.
Zayn attended a fan Q&A at Banquet Records in Kingston on Thursday with a select number of fans in attendance, but things took a turn for the worse when footage showed the star nearly being hit by a water bottle thrown from the crowd.
A clip of that moment was shared on X with the following title: ‘What happened, did someone throw water at Zayn?’
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Zayn Malik and Banquet Records for further comment.
The event caused upset among some fans after the venue shared that two Q&As planned at X would be condensed to just one due to scheduling conflicts.

They said: ‘Due to a last minute scheduling conflict the 4pm and 6pm events will be combined.
‘Don’t worry, the venue will still be at safe capacity. If you have tickets for both the 16:00 and 18:00 shows, you will be refunded for a single event provided you have entered the venue.
‘Send an email to mailorder@banquetrecords.com using ‘ZAYN merge’ as your email subject. You will need to add both your 16:00 and 18:00 order numbers.
‘We apologize for the obvious inconvenience caused here due to circumstances beyond our control.’
Many fans shared their dismay at the change in comments, writing: ‘OMG Zayn is so unprofessional please never work with him again!!!;’
‘Oh my god, so there’s no chance of the 6pm ones being close?;’
‘My friend who was waiting for the 6pm event was at the front of the queue and since the events have been combined he is now at the back because the 4pm event is ahead of him. I know it’s not your fault but it’s so unfair;’
‘That day? While people probably schedule their days around the time they booked?;’
Earlier this month, Zayn announced he would cancel 22 US and UK tours after being hospitalized with a mysterious illness.

Are fans going too far when expressing their disappointment about celebrities going through personal issues?
The event had already caused upset among some fans after the venue shared that two planned Q&As at X would be condensed into just one due to scheduling conflicts.
After the change, some fans complained that they would miss the prime crowd spot at X due to the time change.
Earlier this month, Zayn announced he would cancel 22 US and UK tours after being hospitalized with a mystery illness (pictured)
He was due to begin his tour in Manchester on 12 May, performing in Glasgow on 16 May, followed by Birmingham on 19 May and London on 23 May.
However, the tour will kick off in London before Zayn performs his rescheduled show in Manchester the following day.
The singer said on Instagram Stories: ‘Thank you so much to my fans for all the support and love you have shown me during the release of the album, and more importantly for your love, prayers and good wishes for my health. I felt it and it meant the world.
‘I am recovering at home and doing well and will be better and stronger than before.
‘I have had to re-look at my schedule for the coming months and reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I still want to make sure I go out and meet as many of you as possible.
‘I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you and hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon.’
Zayn was preparing for his biggest solo tour yet, with 31 dates around the world, when he fell ill.
It had previously announced dates for arenas and stadiums in North America, South America and Mexico, and the tour was set to end on November 20 in Miami, Florida at the Kaseya Center.
This was seen as a major landmark step for Zayn, who had canceled previous live dates due to ‘extreme anxiety’.
Although his Glasgow and Dublin shows have been cancelled, Zayn is scheduled to perform in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Brazil.
Before being hospitalized, Zayn had come under scrutiny after reports that he punched One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson, 34, while filming a Netflix documentary.
Zayn and Louis had signed a multi-million pound deal to tour the US, where they will discuss their lives and reflect on memories from their days in the band.
However, according to The Sun, the series was canceled after the pair got into a physical fight; Zayn allegedly punched Louis in the face, causing the singer to suffer a concussion and require medical treatment.
The couple has reportedly not spoken since the incident occurred six months ago.
Louis appeared to confirm his ‘feud’ with Zayn by unfollowing his former One Direction bandmate.
While Louis unfollowed Zayn on Instagram following the ‘fist’ news, Louis is still one of the 17 people Zayn follows.
Meanwhile, Zayn’s family requested that fans stop sending bouquet requests to a local florist to thank them for the charity work they completed during Ramadan.
But her cousin Sasha spoke out to thank people after being swamped with flowers during Ramadan. Sasha said the family “really appreciated the love.”
She wrote on her Instagram Story: ‘We are so grateful to everyone who reached out to send bouquets! Logistically it’s totally useless…
He offered another alternative to show his support, saying: ‘But we are so grateful to all of you, please donate anything you want to the Palestine Project in Zayn’s name!’
The post included a statement from North West-based florist The Hidden Bouquet, which was confirmed by the Malik family.
It read: ‘Due to high demand for Zayn Malik and his family, unfortunately we are unable to take any further orders at this time.
‘We really appreciate the love and support shown. If you would still like to make a meaningful gesture, the Malik family would greatly appreciate a donation to the Palestine Project via the link below.
‘You can donate the amount you would spend on a bouquet and leave a message of support there. The fundraiser will be run by the family and your kind words and contributions will go a long way.’
