Liverpool: Giovanni Leoni out for ‘about a year’ with ACL injury

Director Arne Slot says that after tearing the anterior cross -bond of Liverpool defender Giovanni Leoni, he came out for “about one year”.
On Tuesday, the 18 -year -old continued to be injured in his third round of the Carabao Cup.
Leoni joined Reds from Parma in August for plus add -ons £ 26 million.
“It’s not in a good place because he tears his ACL, which means it would be around a year,” he said.
“It is very difficult to be very young and come to a new country and play very well in your first game, to get positive.
“There’s never a positive side, but you’re trying to look at it, and it’s still going on after getting rid of a very young and terrible injury.”
