Sri Lankalı asylum seekers were removed from Biloela in the center of Queensland by Border Forces Officers in March 2018.
Three local women – Angela Fredericks, Bronwyn Dendle and Simone Cameron – pioneered a campaign to bring them home.
Fifteen were deeply involved in the development of the game – even participating in rehearsals.
“This word is a game to the word, based on hundreds of hours of interviews, List Lyall-Watson said.
“They had the chance to tell the story in their own words.”

“Theater is quite different from a documentary or book, you have to facilitate many materials,” Dunphy said.
Priya and Nades are played by Leah Vandenberg and Matt Domingo, both of which are Sri Lanka heritage.

“They were really eager to spend time with natural harmony and both with Priya and Nadads, Dun said Dunphy.
Dunphy and Lyall-Watson have a few scenarios to share Biloela over and over again to share versions with the community readings in Anzac Club.
A large Biloelan group will participate in the opening night of the game, including Priya and Nades.
“They bring their daughters, but the girls don’t come to see the show because they won’t be suitable for them.
What hit the most about Priya and Nades is the lack of pain or anger that appears to what they live in.
“They are really happy to go back to Bilo, to raise their own fruits and vegetables, to start their own food trucks, and to serve their food to the community.
“The reason they want this game [staged] Don’t they want other asylum seekers to go through what they’ve been through? “
Back to Bilo Within the scope of the Brisbane Festival, he runs at Bille Brown Theater on September 3-16.
