Bjorn Borg reveals battle with ‘extremely aggressive’ cancer
Later, between 1976 and 1980, he claimed the title of five flat Wimbledon, and began one of the great -winning lines in the history of sports and opened five more French.
Borg had a metronomical style, and with an unusual hybrid backhand and two -handed swing. It was also legendary and athletic, and the title of his book is a reference to the fact that resting heart rate often sits in a low 30s.

In addition to being a great champion, Borg became one of the most powerful sex symbols in the history of sports: Tennis’s answer to Beatlemania.
As his eldest friend and his rival John Mcenroe once said: “Four Beatles, Elvis Presley, Brad Pitt and Jesus Christ himself were also interested in Bjorn, as well as a girl, and that girl is leaving with Bjorn Borg.”
On an early date like 1974 – Borg’s second visit to Wimbledon – All England Club had to rent security guards to protect him from his own groups. But Borg was difficult for him to cope because he was not a great exterior.
He always guided by his mentor and Svengali Lennart Bergelin, who seemed to have made most of the decisions. And then, after losing Mcenroe in the 1981 US Open Final, Borg suddenly rebelled. His father was with him at that moment, and after the crisis was prevented, he flew home with him. Nevertheless, Borg says that his family could not deal with their struggles with addiction.

With the benefit of walking, he says he shouldn’t retire so early. In 1982, he first took cocaine at a party in Manhattan, and just 20 years later he began to shift down to Patricia, which he described as a savior.
Borg has been cleaned from drugs since they were an item 25 years ago and says that the publication of his book felt like a weight from his shoulders. “I was close to die many times,” he said in BBC. “I corrected my life. I am very pleased with myself.”
