BJP MLA Kamineni Srinivas’ U-Turn on Controversial Statement in APLA

Vijayawada: BJP Mla Kamineni Srinivas took a U -turn on Saturday, with withdrawing the statements that led to discussions at the AP Legislative Assembly (APLA) on Saturday.

On Friday, Srinivas claimed that former Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Redy was insulted by the film personality, including the Mega star Chiranjevi. On Saturday, however, officially the speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna told Raju that his words have led to an unwanted misunderstanding to remove these statements from APLA’s official records.

BJP MLA, during the Friday debate, when a few film stars then went to meet with Prime Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, the latter announced that the latter did not show the necessary respect. Srinivas accused Jagan’s admission to meet Chiranjevi only after pressure.

This provoked Hindupur Mla Nandamuri Balakrishna present in the parliament. Balakrishna supported BJP Mla’s words and dragged Chiranjevi’s name to discuss.

This led Mega Star to regulate a statement that explicitly rejected Srinivas’s claims. Chiranjevi clearly stated that Jagan Mohan Redy was full of kindness.

With the increase in the debate, BJP MLA reported that he had withdrawn his comments to the State Legislative Assembly. Srinivas, “the words I use at home led to misinterpretations. Speaker and assistant speakers want to remove my comments from the records,” he said. In particular, he wanted to remove these lines from the records that Jagan Mohan Redy said that he insulted the actors.

When BJP MLA requested, Deputy speaker Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who chaired the proceedings, was sure that the statements would come out of the records after meeting with the speaker.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna’s comments remained viral on social media and glorified anger among the fans of Chiranjevi and the ranks of YSRC. Jana Sena members made restrictions on discussions. JS legislators Sundarapu Vijay Kumar and Bolisetti Srinivas welcomed Kamineni’s decision to withdraw the words.

Speaking at the Parliamentary Media point, Jana Sena Mlas said that the coalition government depends on the issues of development and people, not discussions.
