Black student claims she was called ‘monkey’ at London private school | UK | News

A black student claimed that he was called “monkeys” at a private school in London. The alleged racist abuse took place at Lycée Francis Charles de Gaulle School, which cost £ 17,000 a year and ruled by the French government.

Kurban Gabrielle claimed that he had been abused in an article published in the school newspaper. The sixth form student claimed that students shared racist jokes in WhatsApp groups. They were called “monkeys” and said, “It is better to be black more dyslexic.”

As reported TelegramGabrielle said: “Racism and xenophobia are widespread all year. I understand that I have evolved in a school environment where racism continues, considering my personal experiences.”

He also claimed that white students asked the black students whether they could get the “N-Clean Transition”. Then they used the racist term constantly.

Gabrielle said: “Monkey insults are also very common against black children, and some children go far enough to declare that they do not like black girls. Many justify their comments by tagging them as humor.

“These rebellion words have hurt me in the last seven years. As I grew up, I learned to build a shield for myself and despise the areas of pleasure to make such jokes. But this is not the case for many people.”

Principal Catherine Bellus-Ferreira, actress Jacqueline Bisset, film director Roland Joffe and former Tory deputy Dominic Grieve participated in a clear racism problem.

Gabrielle said: “I thought he was brave, I thought he deserved to publish this article. I decided not to censor his article because I thought ‘there is a problem here’. Maybe someone listened to him well.”

“We are not perfect and we need to develop. It is not really honest to say that it does not exist.

“But it is not honest to say that Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle is a racist school. What we can say is that this girl cannot find or listen to good adults to speak. I cannot deny it.”
