11-month-old baby killed after being run over by car in front of his house

A 11-month-old baby boy was killed on Monday, October 6, 2025 after he was led by a car in front of his home in Magadi Road-Nice Road junction.

Mohammed Umar Farooq, who died, was playing in front of his house when his mother was busy with daily affairs. The owner of the house, a taxi driver described as Swamy, was reversed to go to work, and it was claimed that the baby was playing and not over him. According to the profession, the father of the child, who was a driver, went to work at the time of the incident.

The baby was wounded more than one and ran to a nearby hospital and declared that he was dead here.

Based on the witness account, Kamakshipalya traffic police accused Swamy of death for negligence and rash and neglected driving for further investigation.
