BLF Launches Coordinated ‘Operation Baam’; Hits 17 Targets Across Balochistan | World News

New Delhi: In one of the most comprehensive and synchronized attacks in recent years, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) carried out a series of coordinated attacks aimed at both military and government infrastructure in various regions in Balochistan, Pakistan. The militant group called the “Baam Operation” (Dawn), a declaration of what they have defined as a new stage in the ongoing rebellions, taking responsibility for the operation.
According to a report by the news agency, BLF attacks hit many places such as Panjgur, Surab, Kech and Kharan, damaged administrative buildings, broke their communication systems and hit military control points. Although the Pakistan government has not yet published an official wounded report or a detailed assessment of damage, local resources have described widespread interruptions, especially in distant and prone to conflict.
BLF spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch made a statement that described the operation as a new dawn in the Baloch National War of Independence ”. He stressed that the attack spread from the coastal zone to Koh-e-Suleman from Makran and emphasized the expanded operational access of the group.
“Resistance entered a new stage, Ma Major Gwahram said. “The BAAM operation was designed to show that Baloch fighters can initiate large -scale, synchronized operations in the broad geography.”
He also claimed that the operation aims to give the security forces to “human and material losses”. However, most claims have not been confirmed due to limited access to the affected areas and limited communication.
The scale and prominent coordination of the attacks, historically, the exploitation of resources, the military occupation and the autonomy on political neglect by the central government and a rebellion in Balochistan, a state shadowed by long -term complaints.
Until Wednesday morning, security forces had started sweeping operations in affected areas. Communication deductions prevented both civil and media access in some parts of Kech and Panjgur. BLF said that more details about the “Baam operation” will be announced to the public after the campaign was concluded.
The last attack once again attracts global attention to the fragile security view of Balochistan, in which the armed separatist movements are periodically rich in Islamabad in this resource but deeply relaxing region.
