Blood shortage has become a serious problem in today’s world that caused serious problems around the world. But now, artificial blood will end the problem of shortage of blood. Japan has developed artificial blood that could end the shortage of blood, proved that it could be a savior in emergencies, surgeries and other conditions. Japan’s artificial blood can potentially bring a revolution in the history of medicine. Development was directed by Professor Hiromi Sakai and his team at Nara Medical University. The team renewed the stable and virus -free artificial red blood cells in clinical work.

Scientists also claimed that if this was successful, artificial blood may be available for common use until 2030. With this breakthrough, Japan has become the leader in the new age of medical science.

What is artificial blood?

The newly developed blood is known as hemoglobin vesicles (HBV) and is purple with many unique features. Like natural blood, it can carry oxygen to all parts of the body. Purple blood is hemoglobin -based using hemoglobin particles of nano -sized hemoglobin particles in a lipid membrane. Hemoglobin is part of the red blood cells that hold and carry oxygen in the body. These hemoglobin particles behave like small artificial red blood cells that are small as 250 nanometers. But purple color is what makes it different from real red blood.

These laboratory -made blood cells behave like real cells and remain stable at room temperature. What makes them special is the end of the expiration time and the creation of the donated blood designed for disposal. Sakai’s laboratory website, “Blood transfusions can not be treated by diseases and surgical procedures and non -met medical needs are expected to respond,” he says.

The reason behind the purple color cannot be oxidized until it is used.

According to a recent Lancet report, India is among the countries that face the highest blood shortage in the world. The crisis has worsened due to lack of awareness, low -grade infrastructure and a high shortage of donors. Here, artificial blood can prove that he is a life -savior.
