BMC Elections 2026 Winners List: Check seat-wise full list of BJP, Congress, Shiv Sena winning candidates here

Counting of votes for the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation elections is ongoing. Polling in all civic bodies, including Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), ended peacefully on Thursday.

According to the Election Commission, voter turnout across the state was recorded between 46 and 50 percent. The Maharashtra municipal elections, which are among the most closely followed local elections in the country, were held after nearly nine years, and the previous elections were last held in February 2017.

Mumbai BMC 2026 Election Winners List:

• BJP candidate Shovanand Shetty emerged victorious in Ward 9 (Gorai-Yogi Nagar, Old MHB) and clinched the seat by a margin of over 11,000 votes.

• The BJP secured a convincing win in Ward 103 (Mulund West) by defeating MNS candidate Dipti Panchal, who stood second with 5,205 votes. The BJP clinched the seat with a superior margin of victory of 12,129 votes.

• In Ward 124 (Vikhroli), Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Sakina Shaikh emerged victorious, defeating Jyoti Haron Khan, a former corporator from the same ward.

• In Ward 182 (Mahim), Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Milind Vaidya secured victory while BJP’s Rajan Parkar secured the second position.

• While BJP’s Ajay Patil emerged victorious in Ward 214 (Breach Candy) with 8,759 votes, MNS contestant Mukesh Bhalerao secured the second position by garnering 4,031 votes.

• In Ward 215, BJP candidate Santosh Dhale secured victory by defeating Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kiran Bhalsaraf.

• The BJP continued to hold on in Ward 20 and Dipak Tavde secured victory with a margin of 2,738 votes.

• In Ward 51 (Goregaon), Varsha Tendulkar of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena emerged victorious.

• MNS candidate Pralhad Parshuram Mhatre from Panel No. 21 of Dombivli clinched victory in Panel 21 (A), while Ravina Rahul Mhatre of BJP won from Panel 21 (B). Rekha Janardan Mhatre from Shinde group also won from Panel 21 (C).

• Congress candidate Asha Deepak Kale clinched victory in Dharavi’s Ward 183, defeating Shiv Sena’s Vaishali Shewale by a margin of 1,450 votes.

• Vaishali Shewale is the sister-in-law of former MP Rahul Shewale. Meanwhile, BJP’s Rekha Yadav won in Ward 1 in Dahisar, while Tejaswi Ghosalkar emerged victorious in Ward 2 in Dahisar-Borivali.

• Congress candidate Ashraf Azmi emerged victorious from Ward 165 (Kurla West).

• Rekha Yadav from BJP won Ward 1 of Dahisar.
