Chaos broke out at Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl before the Louisville Cardinals celebrated with a bowl of beans.

The Cardinals led Toledo 27-22 and looked to run out the clock to preserve the win.

Issac Brown completed a pass down the right sideline for six yards before being tackled by Toledo’s K’Von Sherman.

But Sherman took the kick a little too far, dragging Brown into the grass well beyond the sideline and near his own bench.

Multiple Cardinals players charged and a massive commotion ensued. At least one player on crutches and another who was limping while nursing a previous injury tried to avoid the fight.

Much scuffling and shoving ensued in the middle of the dog pile on the Louisville sideline.

In the end, there were no sending offs, but a total of four unsporting penalties were given.

Louisville scored the first goal it needed to secure the victory. This was the team’s second straight bowl win after taking home the Sun Bowl against Washington last year.

Miller Moss closed out his college career with 153 yards and two touchdowns, while Brown rushed for a pair of scores, including a 53-yarder in the final minutes.

When the dust settled, actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key was on the field mixing the bowl and preparing it for the Louisville players. Louisville defensive lineman Clev Lubin went to the bakery and asked if the baked beans were theirs, and after getting confirmation, he rushed inside.

Toledo’s final goal came with about 2 1/2 minutes left in the game, and Louisville slammed the door on a fourth-quarter comeback by running out the clock to win the game.

“I’m proud of our team,” said Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm. “We finished strong. We didn’t play perfectly, but we played hard, we played hard, we played until the end.”
