PM Modi, Fiji PM Rabuka Hold Talks To Boost Trade, Ties

New Delhi: On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focused on supporting bilateral ties in areas such as trade and investment, made extensive talks with Rabuka in the Ligama in Fiji, which focuses on supporting binary ties in areas such as investment and investment. Rabuka came to Delhi on Sunday with a three -day journey. It was the first visit of the South Pacific nation as the Prime Minister of the Nation.
Fiji leader is accompanied by a senior delegation of Health Minister Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu and several senior officials. Fiji is an important nation for India in the field of sea security.
The two countries have a strong cultural and human-human ties. India’s connections with Fiji began in 1879 when Indian workers were taken to Fiji under the humility system by the British. Rabuka’s visit to India comes a year after President Droupadi Murmu went to Fiji.
Prime Minister Rabuka’s visit said on Thursday, underlining the long -standing and lasting ties between India and Fiji. “It confirms the constant commitment of both countries to strengthen the bilateral relationship in all sectors and to deepen our close human-human ties.” He said.
