Bogatha Falls Shut till July 26

Haydarabad: Following heavy rainfall in the forest regions, Bogatha Waterfalls will remain closed to visitors until July 26, the Regional Forestry Officer (DFO) Kishan Jadhav said on Wednesday.

The forest department referring to security concerns, for public access, has permanently closed four waterfalls such as Mutheya Dhara, Kongara, Mamidi Loddi and Krishnapuram.

DFO warned tourists against entering these areas under all circumstances. Forest officials said that violations of these restrictions would take a strict action, including the opening of police cases.
