Bogong moths swarm back to Canberra’s skies | The Canberra Times

Five years ago, 2,000-year-old cooked remains of a swamp moth were found in caves in the southern foothills of the Australian Alps. “These findings represent the first definitive archaeological evidence for insect food in Australia and, to our knowledge, their residues on stone artefacts around the world,” said the researchers who found them.
