Bonalu Reflects Telangana’s Unique Culture: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma

Haydarabad: Governor Jishnu giant greeted the people in Bonalu on Sunday. In a statement, the unique culture of the Governor’s Bonalu Festival is a reflection of the diversified life and divine worship of the goddess Yellamma (Mahankali Matha).

“I pray to the goddess Yellamma on this auspicious occasion of Bonalu to give health, prosperity, peace and development to all the people of India and TaLangana.” He said.

Governor Varma also participated in the Bonalu celebrations organized by the former governor Dattatreyaa at his home in Ramnagar.

Union Minister G. Kishan Redy, Malkajgiri Deputy Etala Rajendar, former ministers Marri Shashidhar Redy and C. Krishna Yadav and others attended the celebrations.
