James, son of printing baron Michael Hannan, is chief executive of marketing agency SBM. He previously served as chief operating officer at Yatsal Distributorship and IMPG, and as chief executive officer at Ovato.
Michael was chairman of Australian printing group Ovato, which printed glossy magazines once owned by Kerry Packer. Australian Women’s Weekly.
The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home was purchased by the Hannan family for $12 million in 2023 and has changed little since it was last traded. However, there are Prosecutor’s Office-approved plans for a new five-bedroom, three-storey residence.
Bellevue Hill upgrade

Stephen is managing director and group CEO of Scape Australia, which was founded in 2014 and offers purpose-built student accommodation across 38 buildings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
It’s an upgrade for the Gaitanos family, who now own a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Hunters Hill that was purchased for $4.2 million in 2018.

A notice indicating the purchase of the Gaitanos family was submitted to the title deed. Ray White Double Bay’s Elliott Placks and Ashley Bierman confirmed the sale but declined to comment on the exact sale price or the identity of the buyer.
The couple bought the property Paul OppenheimChairman and co-founder of the General Assembly Group and his wife Cathie-Jane. General Group invests in, develops and manages public infrastructure in Australia, the Middle East and the UK. The Oppenheims paid $18.8 million for the residence in 2017.
The Gaitanos will be able to enjoy the renovations done by the Oppenheims. While the tennis court and pool were already there at the time of purchase, the Oppenheims commissioned a design team to update the interiors and retain period details such as lead-light windows and ornate cornices.
The three-storey residence sits on 1,714 square meters and comes with a gym, office, steam room, library, rumpus and billiards room, updated kitchen, multiple terraces and gardens by Will Dangar.
