Horror as body found on UK beach | UK | News

A man was found dead on a beach on the Essex coastline on Christmas Day. Essex Police confirmed they were alerted on the morning of December 25 after reports of a person being found at Shoebury Common Beach near Shoeburyness.
It was determined that the man died at the scene. Authorities said the death was not considered suspicious and there would be no police investigation.
Responsibility for the case has now been handed over to the coroner, who will conduct further investigations.
In a statement issued on Sunday, December 28, an Essex Police spokesman said emergency services were called to Shoebury Common Road following concerns raised earlier that morning.
“Tragically, a man was found dead at the scene. His death is being treated as an unexpected incident and a report will be prepared for the coroner,” the spokesman said.
Local residents reported that they saw a heavy emergency service presence in the area around 11:00 in the morning, with police vehicles and ambulances arriving at the beach.
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed three ambulances were dispatched after the Coastguard raised the alarm. Sun reported.
“Despite the efforts of all emergency crews, the person was confirmed dead at the scene,” an ambulance spokesman said.
No further information about the man’s identity or the circumstances surrounding his death has been released. The coroner will now work to determine the cause of death at a later date.
Police stressed that the incident did not pose any threat to the public and was not linked to any criminal activity.
