Boy, 4, dies after gravestone falls in cemetery

A four -year -old boy died after a tombstone fell in a cemetery in Lancashire.
Emergency services, a gravestone fell to a child after the reports on Saturday afternoon at around 13.00 Rawtenstall Cemetery was called.
Despite his efforts to save him, the child died. The Lancashire police said that his death was not treated as a suspicious and would spend a “timely” file to HM coronor.
Lancashire police spokesman said: “Today (July 5) we were called to the Rawtenstall Cemetery (5 July) following the reports that a tombstone fell to a child.
“Despite the best efforts of the tragic and emergency services, the child is unfortunately died. Our thoughts are with their loved ones in this destructive time.
“He does not treat death as a suspect and a file will be transferred to HM Coroner over time.”
The cemetery in Burnley Road appeals to non -conformist and Muslim tombs in the Catholic, England Church, and is currently more than 21,000 graves and more than about 17 acres.
There is a chapel that can sit about 40 people to hire for a small fee.
