Temporary train halt at Dornahalli for annual feast

To facilitate devotees attending the annual St Antony’s Basilica feast, the South Western Railway has approved a one-minute temporary halt of four express trains at Dornahalli Halt station from June 11 to 14.

According to the press release, Mysuru-Shivamogga Town Express No. 16225 will arrive at Dornahalli Halt at 10.42 am and depart at 10.43 am. Similarly, Shivamogga Town – Mysuru Express No. 16226 will arrive at 15.50 and depart at 15.51.

Mysuru-Talguppa Express No. 16222 will stop at the station from 14.35 to 14.36, and Talguppa-Mysuru Express No. 16221 will stop at the station from 13.57 to 13.58.

St. Temporary stops were introduced to provide rail connections for pilgrims visiting the Basilica of Antony.
