Bright man charged as police probe links to accused gunman Dezi Freeman

A 61 -year -old man was accused of having an imitation firearms after being arrested during the search of Porpunkah armed disadvanture Freeman.

Officers were allegedly seized weapons and cannabis in a house in the town of Alp, about seven kilometers from Porpunkah on Friday.

The 61 -year -old bright man was arrested on the property and was accused of having a fiery weapon that has been banned since then and having an addiction.

The bright man will appear on October 3 before the Myrtleford Magistrate Court.

Victoria police spokesman said on Saturday, whether one of the bright man is directly connected to Freeman during the police interviews.
