The 73 -year -old Punjabi woman, who has been living in the East Bay of California for more than 30 years, has become a great protest after being detained by the US immigration and customs conservation (ICE) last week.

Harjit Kaur, a resident of Hercules who had previously been a criminal record, went to the Ice office in San Francisco on September 8 because he believed that his family would be a routine appointment.
