Brisbane-backed Solomon Kings accepted into new competition
Brisbane -backed Solomon Kings was adopted to the new FIFA -backed Pro League of the Oceanian Football Confederation and deepened the connections between the Solomon Islands and Queensland.
The joint venture between the Solomon Islands Football Federation and Brisbane Bayside Club Wynnum Wolves will play their first matches in January, subject to the last license and adaptation process.
The new club was launched as the opportunity to resist the increasing influence of China’s Pacific nation, similar to Australia’s federal government’s federal government’s new Guinea Nrl team of $ 600 million.

“This is a historical moment for Oceania football. For the first time, players, coaches and clubs will have a professional league that provides a way to compete in the Pacific for the first time in our region, F Franck Castillo said.

Other teams admitted to the eight team competitions, A-Lig Club Auckland FC and Christchhurch United from New Zealand, Bula Boys FC (Fiji), Hecari United FC (Papua New Guinea), Tahiti United, Vanuatu FC and the South Melbourn of the century Oceanya Club Occ region.
Wolves President Rabieh Krayem was elected as the Vice President of Kings to be established jointly from Honiara and Brisbane.
Finally, Krayem said that the kings hoped to play some home matches in a redeveloped Perry Park.
“This is a historical moment for the Community Football Club and we are honored to build our wonderful common history with our wonderful football friends on Solomon Islands to create new opportunities for the players on the Solomon Islands and Wynnum,” he said.
