Brisbane news LIVE updates: Aboriginal corporation lodges legal fight over Victoria Park
One month after the new bus network of the Brisbane Municipal Assembly started to roll the subway vehicles along the second route – the bus bottlenecks decreased up to 30 percent.
Speaking with ABC Radio Brisbane this morning, Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said that the blockage on the Victoria Bridge has greatly decreased.
Schrinner, “We see that patronage rises, we see less tail and less delay in the network, and this is a critical thing in this growing city, because in the end people expect more service as our city grows,” he said.

The Council, which has received more than 2.6 million people subway since its permanent launch in late January, was expected to sign a new contract with the state government for 70 new buses.
“There are 600 people moved here [to live in Brisbane] Every week, if you feel more intensifying the city – the roads are more intensified – because we need better public transportation. ”
“This metro project not only provides more seats, but also reduces congestion and increases reliability… This is exactly what we need.”
