Queensland nurses strike ultimatum

The Union of Nursesland issued an ultimatom for a wage agreement to the state government, and threatened to allow strike action as soon as possible this week.

The state government and the Union of Queensland nurses and midwives have been locked in negotiations since January.

The state government offered a 8% wage increase for three years. The union has announced 13%demand for more than three years.
