Naomi has since published a separate social media post describing Tom as her ‘best friend’ and ‘rock’.
He explained that he died ‘many times’ before being revived and ‘falling into a coma’.
Naomi also revealed that she is currently in a ‘rehab centre’.
Naomi’s post read: ‘On the morning of March 6th in Bangkok, my life changed in ways I could never have imagined.
‘I had a heart attack and was told I was dead several times before falling into a coma. By every medical measure the odds of survival were not in my favor – yet somehow I am still here.
‘I am grateful to have been given another chance at life… but this gratitude exists alongside deep pain, guilt and regret. I returned alone, without Tom with me. He saved my life and that fact will stay with me for the rest of my life.
‘He was my best friend, my biggest fan, my rock, my confidant, my teammate, my man. I loved her like I’ve never loved anything before, and our last six weeks together were magical. This is what I’m holding on to get through this.
‘I know you would want me to take care of myself and do something meaningful with this life opportunity.
‘Therefore, I checked myself into a rehab center to focus on my physical recovery and also receive treatment for grief, post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma.
‘I’m learning that recovery is not linear; It requires patience, humility and support.
‘With that said, I would like to thank everyone who reached out to me and chimed in with their thoughts. ‘I’m too overwhelmed to respond to all the messages right now but your kindness means the world to me.’
Several friends also posted statements on social media mourning Tom’s death.
The funeral is believed to be held at a Buddhist temple in Bangkok on Thursday.
Tom has reportedly worked in the events industry for over a decade, managing stages at Kala, Houghton, Hideout and other festivals.
