A court found a British Airways flight officer’s “Awol in San Francisco” after the flight was completely naked and Gibbering. The 41 -year -old Haden Pentecost was “agite, sweating and chatter” after receiving a drug cocktail on May 25 this year.

Pentecost was dismissed by the flight manager when he could not help security checks before any flight in the Airbus A320 for ten -hour flight. After complaining about stomach cramps and saying that he had to change his clothes, Pentecost locked one of the aircraft’s bathrooms.

When he opened the door, his colleague found him unaware of the fact that he had no naked and clothes.

Isleworth had to dress to Crown Court before he moved him to a free chair.

Pentecost, who has been dismissed by BA since then, appeared on the dock wearing a blue shirt and a dark gray tie.

He admitted that he had previously performed an aviation function while he was broken by the drug and that he looked gloomy in court today.

Prosecutor Natasha Lake said: “The crew was waiting to be gathered in San Francisco, and the defendant said that he pulled stomach cramps and needed a drink.”

While Pentecost was described as “pale, irregular and scattered”, a colleague said he was inconsistently stray.

While a colleague spoke him behind a curtain, he made an effort to get into a suit that was sleeping.

Pentecost was checked every 20 minutes and had a 120BPM heart rate.

Mrs. Lake said: “What year it was and what the US was asked, but could not answer the questions.”

Pentecost admitted to a colleague in San Francisco that he took drugs.

A blood test later revealed that Pentecost’s system was 236 mg of methamphetamine per liter of blood.

Former Legoland employee Pentecost was taken to hospital when the plane touched Heathrow.

Jon Harrison, who defended Pentecost, said, “He has always been a valuable and reliable member of the cabin team.

“If Awol did not go in San Francisco, he wouldn’t have found it in front of a criminal court.

“He will definitely not commit this crime again because of the loss of his job.

“He had a relationship in San Francisco, and he used drugs to develop a sexual experience on the day of leave.

“He did it before he was honest to admit it. This was a clear thing he had to think better. This was a life lesson. No passenger was unaware of his state.

“There is great embarrassment and shame from Mr. Pentecost. He wanted to put this behind and learn from him. He had to live by the fact that he read articles in the press by those who knew he was reading articles in the press.”

Judge Hannah Duncan, who condemned the former flight official, said, “I don’t need to say how serious this crime is.

“For the permission, you joined to buy illegal drugs. You slept with your phone alarm and the staff members in your hotel were worried about you.

“At this point, before you go to work, you described yourself when entering the automatic pilot. You declared yourself suitable for being there. You weren’t. You felt and looked good and it was a direct result of your use of drugs.

“Instead of getting rid of your use of drugs, you worsened. This was your mistake. It was strange and it would be scary to see any of the passengers in this situation.

“The cabin team performs an important security role. If something goes wrong, it is up to you to be the staff on the ship. This is a position of responsibility and a trust position. Because of the professionalism of your colleagues, no passengers were aware of the state you are in. Your colleagues protected them from this.

“You were dismissed only in what can be defined as humiliating conditions. You are a smart, hard -working and positive member of the society, you are kind, compassionate, popular, except for this terrible event. You really disappointed yourself.”

Basingstoke was sentenced to six months in prison from HANTS, suspended for 12 months and ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work.

It must also pay £ 150 for court costs.
