The immigration officials (ICE) went to a large marijuana growing farm in Southern California in the afternoon of Thursday. The raid took place at the Green House Tulluk Center, a large closed facility in the south of Camarillo.

A protester crowd emerged rapidly and tried to block roads to stop the raid. Protesters and federal agents clashed for several hours. According to the NBC News report, the federal officers used gas boxes and flash bursts to push the crowd back to approach the farm.

It was seen that farm equipment was taken using trucks. Ventura District Supervisor Vianey Lopez’e, approximately 12 to 15 workers were reportedly detained. Raquel Sanchez, a volunteer with an anti-exo group, said that the people in the farm were terrified, he said.
