British couple held by Taliban for months feared they would be executed

ReutersA British couple published by the Taliban in Afghanistan last week, he said they were detained in 10 different prisons and thought they would be executed at some point.
80 -year -old Peter and his 76 -year -old wife Barbie Reynolds, said why they were released or why they were released.

At one point they were held in Bodrum cells without windows for two months. They moved to the ground for the last weeks of his detention, where they had reached better food and they were treated with kindness.
Peter and Barbie were brought to court four times every time they were charged.
“When I was taken to court, I handcuffed my ankles and hands with murderers and rapists,” said Peter.
In addition, they say that they are “mysterious”, with their detainees, Mr. Reynolds adds that both are mostly respectful, but feel “great weakness”.

Britain no longer has an embassy in Afghanistan and warns the country against all travels, saying it is “extremely dangerous”.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: “There is a risk of detention of British citizens in Afghanistan. If you are a British citizen and detained in Afghanistan, you can sentence for months or years to prison.”
