Khadi board sets ₹100 crore Onam sales target with ‘I Also Want Khadi’ campaign

Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board will start a state -wide “I want a Khadi” campaign between August 1 – September 4, aiming at 100 Crore turnover in the consent season.
P. Jayarajan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced at a press conference held at Payyambalam Rest House on Wednesday and said that the campaign will make a 30% discount on Khadi clothes and gift plans.
In a major edition to popularize Khadi among youth and government employees, credit facilities up to La 1 Lakh will be provided to appropriate people. Emphasizing the success of the latest marketing strategies, Mr. Jayarajan said that the diversity for online sales through Khadi trends and vibrations significantly increased the acceptance of the Khadi with the Kerala Fashion Technology Institute, which brands the Diversity and Dees clothing line. Authorized, Khadi products began exports to Italy, Gulf and other countries, he added.
In order to further increase the income of the Board, a special officer was appointed to examine the commercial potential of the existing materials. Based on the report, excess sources will be converted into products that produce income. Jayaragod said that an agreement with Indian Oil Corporation has paved the way for the opening of gasoline outputs in Papinissery, Kannur and Mavungal.
New plans and financial support plans continue to rejuvenate Khadi cooperative societies, including Scheuled caste and planned tribal categories.
In a parallel development, Pattiam Social Service Association launched a new fabric enhancer under the Special Employment Production Production Program program of the Khadi Board – after Pattiam’s Super Stiffy Wash. It is priced as ₹ 210 for 1 liter, ₹ 110 for 500 ml and ₹ 110 and 200 ml for 200 ml and will be available at the Khadi outputs in Kerala.
