Brodie Kostecki fastest, Will Brown crashes, drivers clash
“I’m pretty disappointed with that… anyway, we’re in the mix,” Feeney told Fox Sports.
There had previously been drama in the sixth practice session when reigning series champion Will Brown’s Camaro swerved and left the track after an incident that prompted Mostert to challenge Thomas Randle in the pitlane.

Brown was heard saying on the Triple Eight team radio: “I just pooped my pants.”
Mostert, who suffered a broken leg, wrist and knee after the accident at Panorama Mountain in 2015, apologized to Brown for the incident and went to Randle to complain after the tour.
“I think I caught Randle there at the beginning of my tour, so I don’t know,” Mostert told Fox Sports.

“Randle is doing his own thing and not thinking about everyone else out there and unfortunately that has put Will Brown in a big bind.
“I definitely don’t want to do it at this stage of the weekend, so it’s a bit embarrassing but still.
“I don’t know what information was given to him, but you have to be conscious of other people there.”
More serious accidents occurred in the preliminary races. Super Utes driver Dave Casey escaped serious injury after his vehicle flipped and flipped several times.
In the second race of the Dunlop Series, there was a multi-vehicle pile-up and the restart was restarted.
