Jury returns guilty verdict in trial of Rajwinder Singh over murder of woman on beach near Cairns
Rajwinder Singh was convicted of murdering 24-year-old pharmacy worker Toyah Cordingley in northern Queensland seven years ago.
Cordingley’s body was found half-buried in isolated dunes at Wangetti Beach, about 40 kilometers north of Cairns, after he did not return home after a walk with his dog on Sunday afternoon.
Singh, a nurse working in Queensland’s northernmost town of Innisfail, was tried for murder after being extradited from India in 2023.
More to come.
