Bronze Age shield found in Beith peat bog to go on display

The four shields will be displayed alongside internationally important archaeological discoveries from across Scotland, such as the Carnoustie Hoard, which includes a rare gold-decorated spearhead and a bronze sword in a wooden sheath dating from 1120-920 BC.
