Burglary at ex-cricketer Azharuddin’s Lonavala bungalow; Rs 50,000 cash & television stolen, property damaged
According to Pune rural police, the incident occurred between March 7 and 18 July 2025 in the Pune region in Tikona Peth in Maval Taluka.
Police officials said that unidentified unidentified guests entered the bungalova by cutting the wire network of the back compound wall. Then they climbed the first floor gallery, opened the window grill and entered the house. It is claimed that thieves have played 50,000 la in cash worth 7,000 la, which makes an estimated loss of 57,000 la. In addition to the theft, Miscreans destroyed the properties in the house by pointing to deliberate damage.
FIR registered; The investigation continues
The complaint was opened by 54 -year -old Azharuddin and Mohammad Mujib Khan, who lives in Sambhajinagar. Bungalow reported that the suspect was empty during the entering period.
Based on his complaint, the Rural Police of the Lonavala recorded a furnishing against unknown people in BNS sections 331 (3), 331 (4), 305 (a), 324 (4) and 324 (5) on July 19.
The stolen property has not been rescued yet. Authorities are currently studying the stage, reviewing possible CCTV images, and collecting judicial evidence to monitor perpetrators.
