The A5 will remain closed overnight following ‘serious’ crash. A National Highways spokesman said: “Due to the nature of the incident, the road is expected to remain closed overnight until emergency service operations and rescue efforts are completed.”

The A5 motorway in Warwickshire is closed southbound between the M42 Junction 10 and the B4116 near Atherstone following a serious road accident.
