Cambridgeshire police says: “We were called to Cambridge Regional College at 10.36 with a man’s reports just outside the university area seen with a knife.
“The school closed as a precaution and the officers joined the region.
He continued: “No one was injured, investigations continue and the college will be reopened in a short time.”
