Meghan goes solo and dons dress with enormous train at Annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala honouring Beyonce’s mother

Meghan Markle went solo at the annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala last night, wearing a pink strapless dress with a massive velvet black train.

The Duchess of Sussex posed on the red carpet in Los Angeles, coordinating the billowy sleeves of the train with her earrings, shoes and sweetheart neckline.

She looked relaxed, dripping in jewelry, at the gala where Beyonce’s mother, Ms. Tina Knowles, was honored for her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to empowering Black communities and creators.

She posed with confidence, showing off her figure and grinning in her signature baby pink number.

Her custom dress was designed by Charles Harbison of New York-based luxury women’s clothing brand Harbison Studio.

The Fifteen Percent Commitment is a foundation focused on creating sustainable, thriving networks where black-owned businesses can thrive.

Founded by Canadian creative director Aurora James, the charity works with businesses to support and advance equality.

The charity’s name is a nod to ‘black people, who make up 15% of the US population’.

Grede, who grew up in East London, runs a multi-billion dollar business empire for the world’s most famous reality TV stars.

Fans were delighted to see the duo pose together, with many praising their stunning ‘face cards’.

In June, Grede praised the Duchess of Sussex for ‘building something with purpose, sensitivity and heart’ after sitting down for a 90-minute podcast.

In their chat, Meghan was seen saying she would ‘ask people to tell the truth’ if she could rewrite her public narrative from scratch and reference a ‘lie’ told eight years ago.

The duchess also used the podcast to deny that her personal Instagram account, where she shares behind-the-scenes views of her family life, was a tool to promote her business, adding that she used it for ‘real’ sharing such as a twerking video.

The event follows the charity’s fourth annual gala last weekend, which was attended by the likes of Kelly Rowland and Kim Kardashian.

Rowland wowed the crowd in her daring yellow hooded dress with a sexy bust cutout that highlighted her cleavage.

Kim Kardashian attracted attention with her gorgeous black reptile-textured dress that hugged her famous curves.

The chic halter neck design featured sheer mesh panels that added an edgy touch to the 43-year-old SKIMS founder’s look.

Although she attended the dinner alone, Meghan recently shared a clip on Instagram; She surprised Prince Harry with one of her As Ever chocolates ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The Duke of Sussex’s wife grinned from ear to ear as she strolled through a box of treats, which she first launched last year.

In the clip, Meghan approaches Harry and hands him the chocolate; The Prince says ‘Oh’ to this, then changes his response to ‘Oooh’ and chooses a bar.

A beaming Harry holds the bar up, looks at the camera, says ‘yes please’ and hands the box back.

He then says ‘I love you’ with a cheeky smile still on his face.

The chocolate bars, which sold out within minutes of their initial launch, use “special ingredients” from Meghan’s As Ever brand, such as raspberry butter and floral sprinkles, to “ignite a little sweet nostalgia”.
