SFI stage sit-in at Lok Bhavan, demand justice over NEET paper leak

The Students Federation of India (SFI) held a sit-in at Chalo Lok Bhavan on Monday, demanding justice for students affected by the leak of NEET papers, compensation and justice for families of students who allegedly died by suicide, and resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him morally responsible for the controversy.

The leaders condemned the alleged arrest of several student activists across the state in the middle of the night ahead of the protest and said the police action was undemocratic. Leaders accused the BJP-led government of failing to prevent repeated exam irregularities, including NEET and other entrance exams.

SFI also announced State-wide protests, including burning of government effigies, against the arrests and handling of the NEET issue.
