Meghan Markle reportedly has seven strict requirements for nannies applying to look after Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The 44-year-old has previously referred to herself as a “working mother” and is known to have help looking after her two young children.
As reported by RadarOnlineThere are seven requirements that potential nannies must meet to secure the role of looking after six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for being extremely protective of their children, whom they welcomed in 2019 and 2021. Applicants must have a college degree and at least five years of experience, the release states.
It also states that applicants must live 20 minutes or less from the couple’s Montecito mansion, sign a pledge not to use a cell phone while driving, have a CPR certificate, be a proficient swimmer and preferably speak Spanish or French.
It was previously reported that Meghan was the only person in her life that she felt completely comfortable looking after Archie and Lilibet.
A source previously said: “Meghan feels much more comfortable with children under her mother’s care and Harry was very keen to continue that.” [childcare] in the family.
“Both Harry and Meghan are extremely protective of their children and only stop worrying about them if Doria is in charge while they are away.

This is reportedly due to the fact that Meghan and Harry had previously fired a night babysitter following a disturbing nighttime incident with their son; this caused the duo to be cautious about future hires.
This incident was featured in Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durrand’s book ‘Finding Freedom’, which described how Meghan and Harry let him go on the second night he was working for them on the grounds that he was “unprofessional and irresponsible”.
