Sam Mac: Star Sunrise weather presenter welcomes baby boy with fiancée Rebecca James
Sunrise weather presenter Sam Mac and his partner Rebecca James have welcomed a third baby to their family and revealed the child’s sweet name in a social media post.
The star weatherman posted a photo on Instagram, which included a selfie of Rebecca holding their baby boy, named Miles Samuel McMillan.
The post was captioned: “It’s a kid! Welcome to the world.”
“Bec was an absolute superstar. She’s getting better again. What a woman.”
Baby Miles is the couple’s third child and they seem to prefer the ‘M’ theme for their children’s names; The couple shares Margot, 3, and Mabel, 1.
“I’m so excited for this little guy to meet his big sisters,” Sam said.
“We now have 3 under 4. Wowsers.”
Sam’s followers, including familiar faces from the media, were quick to congratulate the couple on the birth of Miles.
“Mini Miles Mac. Welcome 💙 His two big sisters will definitely be sisters in charge. Congratulations,” fellow Sunrise host Kylie Gillies said.
“Hello nephew ❤️,” Australian snowboarding champion Scotty James said.
“Congratulations Rebecca and welcome to the world of Sam and Miles… love Daryl 🫂🫂🫂,” legendary Australian singer Daryl Braithwaite said.
Miles is the couple’s first child since they moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2025.
