Luke Littler: I had eye surgery as child

World champion Luke Littler has revealed he had surgery to restore his eyesight as a child.
The Briton, now 18, was treated at Warrington Hospital to repair strabismus, a condition in which the eyes misalign, although surgery is not always required.
World number one Littler, when asked whether his life would have progressed differently if he had not had the surgery, said: “Who knows?
“I sorted it out when I was four or five. I don’t have memories of it anymore.
“When I was younger I didn’t really care. But now you look at it, it was a good thing to do back then.”
