Democratic strategist James Carville criticized President Donald Trump and comedian Bill Maher on the latest episode of the “Political War Room” podcast; where he responded to Trump’s remarks about former FBI Director Robert Mueller and pushed back on Maher’s comments about “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Addressing Maher directly during the segment, Carville said, “Do me a favor, Bill. At least try to get Weiss’ head.”
Carville’s remarks came after Maher criticized him for acting like a “crazy old man” with “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and suggested Carville represented a small segment of the political media out of touch with ordinary Americans.

Carville pushed back on this characterization, summarizing Maher’s criticism before responding.
“The debate is basically me and people like me are crazy…we’re just blind rage, we’re crazy, we can’t stand Trump,” Carville said.
Adopting labels, he called himself and like-minded people crazy.
“I agree with you. I’m crazy… a lot of people like me, we’re crazy,” Carville said.

Carville explained his reaction to the current political climate by claiming that he and like-minded people woke up early with anger at the state of the country.
“We wake up at 2 a.m. and hit the wall. I can’t believe this mother is the President of the United States,” Carville said.
“Perhaps our madness is evidence of our sanity,” he added.

Carville also noted Trump’s reaction to Mueller’s death, noting that Trump responded by saying he was “delighted” and questioned whether this would change critics’ perspective on the situation.
“Robert Mueller dies and Trump says ‘I’m glad,'” Carville said. “Are you going to have to be crazy about this?”

Carville closed by reiterating his message to critics, telling them they could “make fun of us” and “make fun of us,” but his attitude remained unchanged.
“We’re not going to change…we’re not going to back down one bit,” Carville said.
“James Carville is a stone-cold loser who clearly suffers from a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital.
