Cash machines ripped from Co-op in cherry picker ram-raid | News

Thieves used a stolen telehandler to smash through a Co-Op wall and steal two cash machines and a large sum of cash in Plympton.

Police released CCTV footage showing at least four men arriving in stolen vehicles on February 2 this year.

A John Deere telehandler left at the scene can be seen crashing into the Glen Road store multiple times, before the thieves took a cash machine and set off in the early hours.

“They are thought to have likely stayed in the area prior to the incident, so we would like to hear from anyone operating an Airbnb or guesthouse who had reservations for the four individuals between January 31 and February 1,” DC Police said.
