CEC, Election Commissioners To Visit Patna on October 4

New Delhi: A team of Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, an ECI Election Commission (ECI), will visit Patna on Saturday and Sunday to review the preparation of the parliamentary survey in Bihar. The dates of the parliamentary elections in the state are expected to be announced next week.

The 243 -member Bihar Assembly period ends on November 22, and the surveys in the state will be kept in multiple stages that starts at the end of this month and in November.

The ECI team will meet with representatives of political parties and senior police, administrative and state survey officials while reviewing the election preparation. A briefing of the general, police and expenditure observers appointed by ECI for Biha polls continues here.

The observers were instructed to remain fully accessible for political parties, candidates and voters in order to eliminate their complaints.
