Celine Dion sent fans into a frenzy on Monday when she announced her long-awaited return to the stage, amidst her devastating battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
The 58-year-old pop icon announced on her Instagram account that she will hold a 10-night concert at the 40,000-capacity Paris La Défense Arena in September and October.
Stiff Person Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that ’causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that come and go and can get worse over time’, and Dion has previously detailed how the condition affects her distinctive vocals.

Dion shared a rare update with fans on Instagram last year with a positive Thanksgiving message.
